As I don’t stay in Kukup myself, I’m unable to give you the most up-to-date information on transportation modes there. There are probably coaches and local buses that can get you to major cities in Johor where it’s more convenient to go anywhere.

While I can’t help you much myself (except perhaps if you want to ask stuff about KL), I think I know some people who might be able to give you some local’s info on Kukup. If you think I can help you with that, please email me privately.

am planning a trip to kukup then to kl
as im singaporean, im not very familar with the routes there.
was wondering if u’ll be able to advise on the mode of transport from kukup to kl?
i dont drive, what are my other options besides taking a plane, which im not very keen on.luxury coaches?train?pls advise.thanks so much!

Hi Tiffany, Oh yes, the seawater smell was everywhere! But that just adds to the fishing village atmosphere, doesn’t it? You’re absolutely right! The whole trip was for ice-breaking, no other purpose. ^ ^

Eheheh, mahjong xD Did it smell like seawater there? xD Those toilets are nasty ;-; but the idea of their houses on stilts, and their toilet system is almost … I have no word for it actually. ^ ^; All of the trip was for ice-breaking?
